This policy explains what personal data the Furoza app and platform ("Furoza") collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Furoza is an event and community management platform operated by FUROZA LTD (trading as Furoza Creative), a company registered in England and Wales with its product studio operated from İstanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Furoza mobile app, the Furoza web application, and related services. When an organization (for example an association or a community) uses Furoza to manage its events and members, that organization decides what member data it collects; in those cases the organization is the data controller for its members' data and we process it on the organization's behalf.
We collect data directly from you, from the organization that invited you, and automatically as you use the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Furoza, and only to the extent needed. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data to at least the standard described in this policy:
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service. Some providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service to you and the organizations you belong to. When data is no longer needed — for example after an account is deleted — we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep certain records (such as invoicing records) for longer.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@furozacreative.com with the subject "Data request" from the email address linked to your account. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by applicable law. If your data is managed by an organization you belong to, we may forward your request to that organization or ask you to contact it directly.
We protect personal data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant-level isolation between organizations. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we design Furoza so that each organization can only ever access its own data.
Furoza is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
